The 2019 AUPresses Financial Officers Meeting will be held March 27-29, 2019 in Savannah, Georgia. To help and encourage individuals from smaller (group 1 & group 2) member presses to attend this event, AUPresses is offering travel grants of $750 and meeting organizers will waive the registration for five eligible individuals.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
  • Be a CFO or equivalent at a Group 1 (annual net sales up to $1.5 million) or Group 2 (annual net sales $1.5-$3 million) member press.
  • Be employed at a member press for at least one year (as of March 15, 2019).
  • Not have attended a financial officers meeting since 2016.
  • Draft a brief statement on why they would like to attend this meeting.
  • Be willing to volunteer to serve on a future Association of University Presses committee or task force.
  • Submit a brief experience report.

* 11. I have received approval from my director and/or supervisor to receive a registration grant. I will be given salaried time off to participate in the meeting and will be provided funding for travel and lodging not included in the grant.

Please submit your application by January 31, 2019.  Recipients are to make their own travel and hotel arrangements (and keep all reimbursable receipts).
