The objectives for this session were: 
1. Review underlying pathophysiology of T2D in order to understand the usability of current drug classifications
2. Integrate clinical practice guidelines in to primary care practice
3. Develop a working knowledge of the unique attributes of drug classifications used in the treatment of diabetes.

All of the identified objectives were met satisfactorily.(Required.)
