NICK TIMOTHY MP: Say NO to the abolition of Suffolk Constabulary
Labour are planning to dissolve Suffolk Constabulary and create a huge regional force spanning Suffolk and Norfolk.
Nick Timothy MP exposed their plan through Parliamentary questions. This is something he strongly opposes because it would take decision-making and accountability even further away from where people live.
On 26 January 2026, the Government announced in its policing white paper what Nick has long warned was its plan - the abolition of Suffolk police and the creation of a distant mega force run from Norwich.
Suffolk police serves a county with the third lowest crime rate in the country. This change will make policing more distant, and less responsive to normal people. If you oppose replacing Suffolk Constabulary with a regional mega-force, please sign Nick's petition below.
