Our mission at EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) is to help scientists realise the potential of big data in biology, exploiting complex information to make discoveries that benefit humankind.

One way we deliver this mission is by providing freely available Data Resources and Tools, including online services, databases and software, to the largest possible global community.
