The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is leading a three-year, $33 million investment in scaling and supporting high-impact tutoring (HIT) across the District, with a particular focus on students who are at-risk or experienced disrupted instruction during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As COVID relief funds are set to expire on Sept. 30, 2024, it is crucial to understand the experiences of school leaders as OSSE makes plans for the future of this investment.

OSSE is seeking feedback from school leaders about their experiences with high-impact tutoring to-date, as well as their interest in launching or sustaining HIT programs next year and beyond. The information collected in this survey will be used by OSSE to inform our planning and support approach for HIT in fiscal year 2025 (FY25).

This survey is not anonymous so that OSSE can gather information across a variety of local education agencies (LEAs) and follow up if respondents are interested in opportunities to further inform OSSE’s HIT strategy. Responses will be aggregated and anonymous when shared out publicly. If we desire to include a quote or case study, we will seek your consent first.

School leaders who make key decisions about the academics and/or budget at your school will be best equipped to respond to these survey questions. We are eager to hear from your school, even if you have not provided HIT in the past or do not plan to in the future.
