Thank you for agreeing to participate in this important project. HIMSS is conducting a job analysis validation study in support of the CAHIMS and CPHIMS certification programs. Your feedback will help us update practitioner competencies that will be used in developing the blueprints and content for future certification examinations.
A HIMSS Task Force has reviewed current content coverage for the CAHIMS and CPHIMS exams and has proposed a series of updates to ensure the certification programs remain current. We are reaching out to the broader healthcare IT community to help validate the proposed updates and provide information on any additional content areas that may have been overlooked. Your participation in this effort is vital for keeping pace with our changing ecosystem.
Please complete the survey based on whether your level of practice is most aligned with the CAHIMS or CPHIMS program. Note that individual responses will be confidential, data provided to HIMSS will be in an aggregated format.
The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and must be completed by October 30, 2026.
