BoyarMiller is a Houston-based law firm that serves as a strategic partner for organizations of all sizes—from entrepreneurs to mid-size businesses to Fortune 500 companies—across the country and around the globe. Inspired by a goal to create equitable access to quality legal services, we want to find opportunities to meaningfully contribute. For us, that means applying our deep experience and knowledge with honest communication to assist Black-owned businesses to move forward and face challenges fearlessly.
Under our program for providing Legal Assistance for Black-owned Businesses—The LABB—we provide pro bono legal services to Houston-area Black-owned businesses that are selected by need and merit to participate in our program. Selected participants will not pay for any billable attorney time. Instead, these participants will only pay for third-party expenses, such as government-imposed filing fees, which must be approved by the participant before they are incurred.
Our goal is to enable participants to benefit from our firm’s culture of achieving practical business solutions using vision, creativity, and expertise. To do that, we first want to learn more about you and your business as an applicant for this program and how we can be of value.
