Please share your feedback on the priorities for the Cocheco River Corridor Management Plan. The Plan includes an assessment of the resources in the Corridor, a description of key threats, and a series of goals, objectives, and actions the Cocheco River Local Advisory Committee will take to advance the protection and stewardship of the Cocheco River Corridor. This survey focuses on gathering feedback about priority threats and actions.
The plan was developed in accordance with NH RSA 483:10, which outlines what corridor management plans must include. The focus of the plan is the
non-tidal portion of the Cocheco River, and the corridor includes a 0.25-mile buffer of the normal high water mark. The Cocheco River corridor is primarily located in New Durham, Farmington, Rochester, and Dover, though the entire Cocheco River watershed spans parts of 10 communities (Barrington, Dover, Farmington, Middleton, Milton, New Durham, Northwood, Rochester, Somersworth, and Strafford).
This survey is open through Sunday, September 20th. Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your feedback! Please feel free to reach out to
LWise@straffordrpcnh.gov with any questions or further comments.
