The AMA (NSW) Hospital Health Check Survey is open to all doctors-in-training, from interns to fellows.
The survey results provide important information about working conditions in NSW hospitals. AMA (NSW) uses the results to rate individual hospitals on a number of different measurements, such as rostering and overtime, bullying and harassment, access to leave, and more.
Consequently, it's important that you answer the survey questions based on your experiences at one hospital that you've worked at in the last 12 months. If you've worked at several hospitals, that's ok. You can take the survey more than once. Just remember, each time you take the survey, your responses should reflect the experiences you had at one particular hospital, rather than your overall experiences from the previous year. This will provide greater accuracy and insight into individual hospitals.
Please answer all questions based on ONE HOSPITAL that you've worked at in the last 12 months.
- If you've worked at several, pick the one you were at longest and/or most recently.
- If you want to answer for another hospital, you can TAKE THE SURVEY AGAIN at the end and provide responses based on your experiences there.
All responses should be kept ANONYMOUS - so don't include identifying details in your answers.
To go in the draw to win a $250 Visa gift card you can leave your contact details at the end – these will be kept separate to your survey answers, which will not be identifiable.
De-identified data from this survey could be used for research purposes.
