Community Tree Planting Events to Commemorate the Queen's Jubilee

This grant is electorate-based, which means Zali's electoral office has $100, 000 worth of funding for community projects that will take place within the federal electorate of Warringah.

Incorporated, not-for-profit organisations can apply for $2,500-$20,000.

This program is for commemorative, community tree planting events. Requirements to hold a commemorative event as well as increasing the tree canopy in Warringah with appropriate species should be reviewed carefully.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Read the Grant Guidelines, Factsheet and FAQs on Zali's website to see if your organisation and your project comply with the eligibility criteria.

2. Complete this EOI by 15 March 2022. Late applications will not be accepted.  Please note: If you answer a question in such a way that it makes you ineligible for the grant, your session will be terminated. You are welcome to start a new EOI if you feel you can provide an alternative accurate response.

3. The independent grants committee Zali has established will choose the projects they deem most eligible (to a combined value of $100, 000).

4.  If your project is chosen by the grants committee, The Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources will send you an official (more detailed) application form. The Dept will assess your application to ensure you have met all of the eligibility criteria.

5. If your application is successful, Zali's office will contact you and you can start your project, ensuring you can hold a commemorative event by 31 December 2022, and the project is completed by 30 November 2023. Please note, money from unsuccessful applications can not be redistributed.

If you have any questions, please contact Zali's Grants Officer, Rachael Rogers on 9977 6411 or at rachael.rogers@aph.gov.au.
