Summer of 2020 Survey

At Girl Scouts of Suffolk County (GSSC), we strive to make sure that each girl has a special connection to her entire Sisterhood of Girl Scouts, no matter what life may throw her way. Due to the profound impact COVID-19 has had on the well-being of our community, girls need a sense of security and sisterhood now more than ever.

Based on WHO, CDC and NYS social distancing guidelines, GSUSA has recommended that councils immediately suspend all large in-person Girl Scout gatherings. As such, we are unable to offer a traditional Summer Camp experience this year.

Though we can't be physically together this summer, that doesn't mean we need to be apart. The real magic of camp is giving our girls a platform to experience the outdoors and take on new adventures in a space where they feel safe and secure. This summer, that space will be in countless living rooms, backyards, and kitchen tables.

We need your input to tailor our summer program to meet the needs of our girls and family members. Please take a moment to fill out our short survey. With your help, GSSC can continue to provide its girls alternative summer programming that is engaging, inspiring and empowering.
