CT Trail Finder will be the primary statewide web resource for all of Connecticut's trails. The goal is to help people get out, be active, and enjoy and explore Connecticut's outdoor treasures. Trail description pages will allow users to view the trails, get essential information, and submit trip comments and photos. CT Trail Finder will also provide information about trail-related events and businesses.

A key feature that distinguishes CT Trail Finder from many trail websites and mobile apps is that all data is trail manager approved. Research shows that new users prefer an “official” resource to rely on as they learn about a new activity in the outdoors.

The CT Trail Finder project is managed by the CT Trail Census at UCONN Extension and has a growing list of partners, including Connecticut Forest and Park Association, Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), and the National Park Service, to name a few.

Visit CTTrailFinder.com for the temporary site addressing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and to watch a recording of our webinar hosted on July 22.
