Question about the Greener Homes Program for NRCan

The purpose of this questionnaire is to seek clarification and identify opportunities to provide additional information about the Greener Homes Program. 

Members are encouraged to ask their questions about the Greener Homes Program that we can share with NRCan and seek clarification and direction for EAs and homeowners.

CACEA will update members in the EA Council Meetings, the Member Forum and/or the Greener Homes page in the Member HUB.

2.Home Insulation Rebates 
Eligible attic/ceiling, exterior wall, exposed floor, basement or foundation, and crawlspaces.

3.Air-sealing Rebates 
Perform air sealing to improve the air-tightness of your home to achieve the air-change rate target.(Required.)
4.Windows and Door Rebates 
Replace your windows or glass doors with ENERGY STAR® certified models.(Required.)
5.Thermostats Rebates 
Add a smart thermostat to help improve your comfort and save money on your energy bill (must be combined with another retrofit).(Required.)
6.Heating Rebates 
More energy-efficient heating equipment to save on utility bills and reduce carbon footprint - Ground Source Heat Pumps; Air and Cold Climate Heat Pumps; Domestic Hot Water Equipment.(Required.)
7.Renewable Energy Rebates 
Install photovoltaic solar panels to convert sunlight energy into electricity.(Required.)
8.Resiliency Measures Rebates 
Incentives to protect your home and your family from environmental damages (must be combined with another retrofit) - PV Batteries; Roofing Membranes; Foundation Water-proofing; Moisture-proofing Crawlspace, Floors, Walls, Headers.(Required.)
9.Small Multi-Unit Residential Buildings (MURBs) Rebates
