The following laws are currently on the books in many Iowa communities. Of course, all laws are made with the safety and efficiency of bicyclists and traffic in mind. However, the laws may or may not positively impact bicyclists. Iowa Bicycle Coalition district leaders have examined 270 different city ordinances and flagged these as questionable bike ordinances that need to be reviewed and replaced.
