The Heroes for Young Hearts awards recognize individuals who demonstrate a continuous commitment to raising awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in youth through specific, impactful actions that support the mission of Parent Heart Watch (PHW): protecting youth from SCA and preventable sudden cardiac death. Nominees are not required to be Parent Heart Watch members.

All information provided will be viewed by PHW Staff and Selection Committee.
NOMINATION GUIDELINES: Nominations should be submitted for one individual per category and must include specific details of the actions taken by the nominee between October 2024 and October 2025 to support the PHW mission. For example, organizing multiple community heart screenings, placing AEDs in local facilities, conducting research that advances prevention, or leading education and awareness efforts. Submissions lacking details on specific actions, photo(s) and/or links to news article(s) will not be considered by the Nominating Committee.
