Welcome to Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka’s Quick Pre-Qualification Screening. 

We are happy that you chose Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka as a partner in your quest for homeownership.   

This screening tool will determine if you meet the preliminary criteria needed to purchase a home through Habitat Seminole-Apopka.  At the end of the survey you will have the opportunity to register for our orientation notification list or you will be advised that you don’t qualify at this time. THIS IS NOT AN APPLICATION.

This is step one of a three step process.  
  1. You will complete a Pre-Qualification screening; If the Pre-Qualification Screening process determines that you meet the basic criteria, you will be invited to add your information to our orientation notification list.
  2. Once you attend an orientation, you will be able to apply to our homeownership program. Loan pre-qualification screening does not include an analysis of your credit report or an in-depth look at your ability to purchase a home.  
  3. The next step will be the Homeownership Application. The information provided will allow Habitat Seminole-Apopka the ability to do a preliminary evaluation of your overall financial picture.  After evaluating this information, Habitat Seminole-Apopka will determine if you are eligible to purchase a home from Habitat.  
If you are invited to complete the Homeownership Application you will be required to provide a number of documents.  We will let you know ahead of time what they are so that you can gather them before you fill out the application.  

If you are disqualified during the application process, we will provide you with the reasons that prevented you from qualifying.  If you are able to correct these items, we encourage you to re-apply.
