HEA Bargaining Survey '25-'26

Our current union contract expired in June 2025, and we now have the opportunity to make improvements to any of the provisions of our agreement. This comes as we continue to struggle with district budget shortfalls and proposed school closures. These negotiations present both challenges and opportunities. Your responses are critical to ensure we represent our members' priorities to the best of our ability.

This survey offers all HEA members the opportunity to offer suggestions that will improve our jobs and schools. It is important that our HEA Executive Board and Bargaining Team understand the priorities of our members and our willingness to take action in support of a good contract. The information you provide below will be read by HEA leaders and used to create our proposals for negotiations. We have highlighted articles that are most often on our members' minds, and left space at the end for any suggestions that didn't fall into those categories.
