For Runners: Treadmills? Question Title * 1. Do you run on a treadmill? Never. Rarely. 1 to 30 times/year. Occasionally. Average at least once a week. Often. 2 or more times/week. OK Question Title * 2. Do you mind running on the treadmill? I loathe it! Sometimes it’s a necessary evil. I don’t mind it. I enjoy it! OK Question Title * 3. Why do you run on a treadmill (check all that apply)? It’s part of my routine. It’s unsafe outside (for example, it’s dark, bad outside footing, weather or air conditions) To keep my pace honest (either for easy/recovery runs or workouts) I don’t have a suitable place to run outside (for example, on a boat or in a location with no roads or trails) OK Question Title * 4. Effort-wise, which is easier for you when running the same pace, running on a treadmill or running outside? Running outside feels easier than on a treadmill when paces are similar. Running on a treadmill feels easier than outside when paces are similar. I notice no difference. OK Question Title * 5.
