* 1. Intake: Intake is how people apply for our services.  Currently people may apply for our services by walking into our office, on the telephone and online.  

Please rate our different intake system processes based on your experience.

Walk-In: Walk-In intake is from 9 am to 12 pm, Monday through Thursday.  Applicants who come to our office meet with an intake specialist and then an attorney, if necessary.
Telephone:  Telephone intake is from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.  Applicants call in and wait to speak to an intake specialist.  If they are eligible, an attorney calls them the next business day.
Online:  Online intake is through our website at www.legalservicesmiami.org.  Online intake applicants provide some information, then they receive a call from an intake paralegal within a day.  An attorney calls them the next day.

* 3. Advocacy:  This refers to the types of cases we handle.  Generally, we help clients with the following: landlord tenant problems, foreclosure defense, denials of all public benefits, special education, income tax, limited consumer issues, development of affordable housing.
