Background
Haldimand County is preparing a Housing Strategy to guide future policies, programs, and investments across the local housing system. As part of this work, the County is collecting input from residents and stakeholders to better understand current housing needs, challenges, and priorities.
To ensure the Strategy reflects lived experience and local priorities, the County is gathering input from residents, community partners, housing providers, and other stakeholders. Your feedback will help identify the barriers people face when trying to find or keep housing, and the types of solutions that would make the greatest impact.
The results of this survey will directly inform the development of the Affordable Housing Strategy's goals, actions, and implementation plan. Insights from the community will be used alongside data analysis, policy review, and engagement with service providers to shape recommendations on topics such as housing affordability, supply, supportive housing, homelessness prevention, and partnerships. By participating, you are helping the County build a clearer picture of current needs and future opportunities to ensure the strategy is grounded in real experiences and supports a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable housing system for all.
