Young Men, Gender and Political Identity in the US

Introduction and Informed Consent

The following survey is part of a doctoral research project examining US-American young men's experiences of gender and political identity. The research is being conducted at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Freie University in Berlin, Germany.

You are invited to participate if you meet the following criteria:

1. You are a male US citizen, AND
2. You were between 18-29 years old on the day of the November 2024 presidential election.

The survey should take about 15-20 minutes to complete.

Participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous. There are no immediate risks associated with participation, however some questions may relate to topics that are personally sensitive. You can stop answering and exit the survey at any time. Incomplete responses will not be included in final data analysis.

Answers will be used for research purposes only. Results are anonymized when shared with third parties. All data will be stored in compliance with GDPR guidelines.
