Welcome to Our Survey

Active Disability Ireland are a national pan-disability sport organisation. Our aim is to increase physical activity opportunities for people with disabilities in Ireland.
Our work is guided by the belief that people with disabilities should have the opportunity to participate in sport and physical activity within their local communities.
We want to find out your child's experiences of participation in physical activity within the community and at school. By better understanding the experiences of young people and children with disabilities, we aim to facilitate an Ireland where all children and young people have the chance to participate in activity of their choice.
We ask that, where possible, the child/young person answer section 1-3 of the survey and the parent/guardian answer section 4. The parent/guardian may assist the child in answering section 1-3, however, please accurately reflect answers and try to avoid leading.
The survey will take roughly 10 minutes to complete.
When we say ‘physical activity’, this includes any activity for leisure, fun or travel but not housework or for your job. For example, going for a walk, going to the gym, playing sports, gardening etc.
Active Disability Ireland respects your privacy rights and complies with our obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All information provided below is stored on a secure server. The findings will be used to create a report, which may be shared publicly. Your responses will be reported anonymously.
