About the Fair:
Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations (ECVO) needs your help to make the Edmonton Volunteer Fair a success! ECVO will be hosting the 8th annual Edmonton Volunteer Fair. The purpose of this event is to give Edmontonians an opportunity to connect with non-profit and charity organizations in the Edmonton area. Organizations get the chance to raise awareness for their organizations and recruit volunteers. The Volunteer Fair is a large event with a fun atmosphere so the public can casually connect with organizations, meet directly with their representatives and sign up immediately to volunteer if the opportunity is suited to their passion. We need volunteers to help make this event a success.

April 14, 2018 West Edmonton Mall Level I Phase I Centre Stage, by the Bay
Ambassador Duties:
• Set up and take down event materials.
• Engage with participants about the event, answer questions, handout maps and promote event features
• Survey attendees about the event.
• Help agencies find their tables, respond to agencies concerns or needs
• Assist with promoting the volunteer story photo-booth and collecting volunteer stories

• Volunteer for the day (3 hour shift minimum)
Qualifications: This position is best suited for people who are friendly, outgoing, and reliable.

Volunteers will have an opportunity to connect with more volunteer opportunities in Edmonton. Snacks, drinks and scheduled breaks will be provided. Volunteers will receive a detailed volunteer training instruction manual and an orientation the week before the event
