The Board of Directors will form a small group (likely 6-8 persons) based on signalled interest from Full Members, and relevant expertise and experience. The active members of the current group will be proposed to their Full Members for renomination.
The criteria will clearly specify a track record in relevant research. Because of the primary need for ready access to evidence based scientific statements, it is not envisaged that the AHWG will comprise persons who are focused on advocacy or activism in the topic area.
