As we navigate being parents in a world of changing technology that offers terrific opportunities as well as real threats, OK to Delay Takoma Park is a non-judgmental space for parents to learn together and support one another. We are parents who are interested in learning about tech/social media/gaming options for our kids that are healthy, how to implement parental controls that are appropriate for our family, and research on the impacts of social media and screen time on our kids. This new volunteer- and parent-led chapter is just starting up this fall. We have very positive initial support from TPMS and early signs suggest a great partnership with the PTSA as well.

THANK YOU for your time and for sharing your information, Today, on a late August Saturday afternoon in 2025, OK to Delay nationally is a few active groups scattered around the Eastern seaboard, while OK to Delay Takoma Park is just one mom. And this mom is excited to meet you, share resources, and learn from you in the coming months. OK to Delay is about to get bigger and help families like yours and mine, as we figure out how to protect our kids while giving them appropriate freedom, how to use technology rather than let it use us. I look forward to seeing what happens next and I'll be in touch very soon.
