Thank you for taking the time to register for our regional hui to be held at Taradale High School on the evening of the 29th August
We encourage rangatahi/whanau and interested community including teaching staff to attend this hui. The goal is share important information with you all about understanding connecting secondary to tertiary and the key things that we need to make sure we are aware of. We have a guest speaker to inspire rangatahi and then the group is split into workshops (Year 9-10), (Year 11-12) and (Year 13) is a specific workshop for students who are preparing to enter a Faculty of Medical Health Sciences programme at the University of Auckland. The other workshops cover topical topics such as understanding the need to learn to learn and why, importance of subject selection, the difference between NCEA, University Entrance and entry admission into University programmes.
