By participating, your organization pledges to review the applications we send you, interview the candidates of interest, and hire a summer associate from our pool.

Key Dates
  • Friday, October 16, 2026
    • Deadline to complete this form.
  • Friday, January 22, 2027
    • Firms, corporations, and paid government employers receive student packets.
  • Wednesday, March 10, 2027
    • Courts, government, and non-profit entities offering unpaid opportunities receive student packets.
Please designate a primary contact below — someone who will be with your organization through summer 2027 and can answer our questions about your placement.

By submitting this form, you agree to:
  • Review the applications we forward and interview the candidates of interest;
  • Hold a summer position for a student from our program, and tell us the name of the student you hire — or let us know if you do not hire through the program;
  • Keep a current primary contact on file with the HBA;
  • Follow the ABA and Texas Rules of Professional Conduct with all students in this program; and
  • Notify the HBA within one week if a student is terminated during a placement.
