Allen Boulevard District Plan: Community Priorities Survey Earlier this year, we asked people to share their thoughts about the neighborhoods along Allen Boulevard. The survey results are summarized below. The qualities that people like most about Allen Boulevard neighborhoods include:- Proximity to Downtown Beaverton- Cultural diversity- Access to parks- Local businesses that serve the community People’s top concerns for the neighborhoods along Allen Boulevard include:- Appearance of the area- Quality of housing- Not feeling comfortable walking in the neighborhood- Need for other types of shops and services The best ways to help businesses along Allen Boulevard include:- Grants for building improvements- Forming a business group- Finding ways to reach more customers People suggested more ideas on how to make the district even better (comments are available at www.BeavertonOregon.gov/Allen). The Allen Boulevard district extends roughly one-quarter mile north and south of Allen Boulevard, between Highway 217 and Murray Boulevard.
