A "Rising Star" is an automotive executive with a pan-European profile, distinguished for having driven change, fostered innovation and made courageous decisions.

The Rising Stars Award honors those automotive executives in middle and upper management who are the leaders of tomorrow, together with the companies that are nurturing them.

To qualify, candidates should have a minimum of 10 years work experience, have multiple language skills and be 45 years or younger on January 1, 2018. Self-nominations are accepted.
