Clinician Survey for BACC study |
Dear Physical Therapy Clinician,
The purpose of the research we are conducting is to determine the prevalence and underlying causes of depression, anxiety, and burnout in graduate physical therapy students, physical therapist assistant students, practicing physical therapists, and practicing physical therapist assistants in the United States. The results of this study and the awareness it may bring to issues within the physical therapy community may lead to improvements in graduate physical therapy programs and physical therapy workplaces in the future.
The first part of the survey asks some basic demographic information and a few open-ended questions. The second part of the survey contains two assessment tools, the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), which is 9 questions in length, the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), which is 22 questions in length. The entire online survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participation in this study is voluntary and declining to participate will not result in any consequences. If you choose to exit the survey, you can close your browser.
