Copy of Opioid Settlement Usage Survey 2023

New York Attorney General Letitia James has reached settlements totaling over $1.6 billion with companies involved in manufacturing, distributing, and selling opioids. These funds will be directed towards New York communities for treatment, recovery, and prevention efforts.

Rensselaer County Department of Mental Health and Public Health are reaching out to the community to gain insight on how to utilize the settlement money on strengthening our opioid prevention and treatment efforts. Based on the Office of Addiction Services & Supports (OASAS) and the Attorney General, Rensselaer County Public Health and Mental Health have identified Categories that have been approved for Opioid Settlement money usage.
