Petoskey Chamber Celebration of Champions Nomination Form 2026 Survey

The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards event, Celebration of Champions, will take place at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts on Thursday, December 3. Cocktails and appetizers will be served from 5:30–7:00 p.m., followed by the awards program from 7:00–8:30 p.m.

The Celebration of Champions Committee is seeking nominations for the five awards described below. Please carefully review the criteria for the selected award before submitting a nomination.

Each nomination must clearly demonstrate how the nominee meets the specific award criteria. Please provide detailed information and examples illustrating the nominee’s impact, as a name alone does not provide the committee with enough information to evaluate a nomination. The committee uses the published criteria to evaluate nominees and select each award recipient.

Multiple nominations for the same person or business are not considered votes and do not increase the likelihood of selection. The strength and relevance of the information provided, not the number of submissions received, guide the committee’s decisions.

The nomination deadline is September 30 at 5:00 p.m.

Thriving Petoskey Award: Honors an individual, business, or organization that exemplifies innovative practices, enhancing Petoskey’s livability and workplace culture. This award highlights those who intentionally focus on being a workplace of choice to foster a strong, vibrant community.

Ron Foeller Community Enthusiast: Presented to honor a local citizen whose dedication and collaboration exemplify their passionate support for our community, either in their professional or personal endeavors.

Service Effect Award: Presented to a business or individual for delivering an exceptional and memorable experience, demonstrating remarkable hospitality, and fostering a culture of outstanding service to all. This award honors those who enhance the Northern Michigan community by consistently going above and beyond to set new standards of excellence.

Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Presented to honor an entrepreneur who is helping to enhance the local community through business growth.

Marty Van De Car Inclusivity Award: Honors an individual, business, or organization in our community that breaks down barriers and fosters change to create an inclusive and welcoming community for all.
