SEMCOG is committed to providing information and opportunities to engage with its plans and programs and other quality-of-life issues that impact Southeast Michigan residents.
We encourage public participation in the development SEMCOG plans and programs and any substantive amendments to them. SEMCOG provides forums and makes presentations to local governments and stakeholder groups to ensure community views are heard on planning and project-related issues.
To impact individual projects, the greatest opportunity for participation is during the early stages of project planning, which occur at local units of government such as road agencies.
