Workshop: Work Safe: Health and Safety

Description: During this workshop presented by the Workers' Health and Safety Legal Clinic, participants will learn about the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and how it helps to keep workplaces healthy and safe and how to keep yourself safe at work.

We will also look at an overview of the Workplace Hazardous Material Information System - WHMIS 2015, as well as the Ontario’s Human Rights Code and how it addresses harassment and discrimination in Ontario.

Finally, participants will obtain clear and reliable legal information and resources on a variety of other legal topics, including Legal Aid Ontario and how to access free legal advice services.
