Real Life Story Submissions

One of the ways we make cancer less lonely is by sharing real stories about the many different experiences people have with cancer. Please respond to the following short answer questions as though you were responding to a friend or loved one.

Three to five sentences per response is typically enough to ensure that readers can identify with your story, but we love longer or shorter answers too! In order to increase the size of the text boxes so you can see your answers properly, simply drag the bottom right corner of the text box.
.What is your name?
.What is your email? (We won't share without your permission!)
.Are you a supporter, survivor or current patient?
.What was your cancer diagnosis and how was it discovered? If you're a supporter, how was the diagnosis of your loved one discovered?
.What is the biggest piece of advice you have for newly diagnosed patients or supporters of newly diagnosed patients?
.What is the most important thing you learned from your cancer experience?
.What was the most difficult aspect of organizing care / community?
.What are three words you would use to describe your cancer experience?
.Are there products, services, experiences, or physicians that you couldn’t be without? Tell us more below.
.Please provide your public Instagram handle for us to pull 2-5 pictures from. If easier, please send photos to info@onevillage.io
.Please provide a brief 2-3 sentence bio that will help readers get to know you.
.If you feel comfortable connecting with other cancer patients, supporters, and survivors, please provide your contact information!
