Express your interest in becoming a volunteer student mentor

UniSA Justice & Society (JUS) at the University of South Australia (UniSA) offers a mentoring program to support first year students (mentees) enrolled in social work, social science or psychology degrees.

Volunteer mentors support registered mentees in academic, social, wellbeing, psychological, and cultural challenges to assist them in settling into university life at UniSA. Mentors will draw on their experience and knowledge as university students to provide this support and assistance to their designated mentees.

Mentor Requirements:
To be a mentor, JUS students need to have completed the first year of their degree. The program runs for seven weeks at 3-4 hours per week and mentors are expected to commit their time for this. Other requirements apply - read more here.

Mentor Benefits:
Include adding new skills and experience to your resume, recognition in the UniSA+ program, a recommendation on your LinkedIn profile, opportunity to meet new people, and a certificate of recognition.  Others benefits available - read more here.
