Tucker-Rhodes Emerging Leader Scholarship

Welcome to the Tucker-Rhodes Emerging Leader Scholarship application. As a family, we want to celebrate you, as you pursue your educational dreams. Whether you are headed to college or have a few years under your belt, you may be eligible to apply. Applicants must be a high-school senior, who plans to enroll in college for the fall; a current college student; and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Winners will be notified and asked to send in a copy of their fall schedules prior to the family reunion. Application deadline is April 30 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).

Application requirements include:
- Sending an email to TuckerRhodesFamily@gmail.com, expressing intention to apply for the scholarship
- Submitting an online application
- Answering three short questions
- Submitting a letter of recommendation

Requirements for short questions:
- 150 words per question
- Please proofread -- attention to detail can make or break an application

Letter of Recommendation:
- Referee should speak to applicant’s:
         Character and/or ability to influence

         Demonstrated leadership at school, church, in the community, etc.
- Referee should also answer the question:
          Why do you believe applicant deserves this scholarship?

The letter of recommendation should be from a non-family member (e.g., teacher, coach, employer, etc.). Please scan and email the letter of recommendation to TuckerRhodesFamily@gmail.com. Application, short questions, and letter of recommendation must be received by the deadline -- April 30 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
