In collaboration with Tata Trust and CMC Vellore, CHAI is rolling out two courses on COVID - 19 management.

Integrated short course:
This course comprises of six modules on triage, quarantine, infection control, isolation ward management, patient management and management of self and the team. This course can be completed in two weeks and is suitable for doctors, nurses and paramedical staff. Participants can access the courses online and also access monthly webinars from CMC Vellore.
Participants have the option of upgrading to Advanced Critical Care course
Advanced Course in Critical Care:
In addition to the six short course module, this course contains three more modules for critical care, on respiratory support, cardiovascular support and managing equipment. This course is suitable for doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff working in larger hospitals with critical care facilities.
This course is provided in a training of trainer model, meaning that participants who complete the course will have to train additional participants from their institution, facilitating them to complete the modules and go through hands on training to acquire essential skills. To enrol in this course, the institution has to nominate two or more participants to the Faculty Development program. Trainers will be provided course material and a certificate on completion to rollout further trainings in their institution.
