Pop-Up performances are generally a cappella, but limited equipment may be available at some venues. Please indicate below any equipment that you may require, and we will try to accommodate where possible. Please state if you intend to bring equipment, as prior approval may be needed in some venues for its use.

* 6. Pop-Up Performance Time Slots

The Festival provides Pop-Up performance opportunities in four time slots. Most locations are within walking distance of Salamanca. There may be a limit on the number and date of performances for each choir, depending on venue and time availability. Typical venues include museums, art galleries, markets, malls, public buildings, hotels and many more.

The festival will allocate venues that are considered suitable for your choir and as far as possible the times you choose. A limit may apply to the number of individual performance permitted for each choir.

* 8. Singers' Lounge Time Slots

The Singers’ Lounge is our version of a Festival Club. Where choirs gather to sing in a far more informal setting. Commencing at 7.30 until late on selected days. A fixed program of entertainment is followed by “blackboard” open style sessions. Stage, microphones, keyboard, music stand, audio backing and a professional sound operator will be in attendance.
