1. INTRODUCTION




The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development  (KICD} in collaboration with TESSA and Open University UK, is in the process of carrying out an Online Needs Assessment study to determine gaps in teacher capacity in implementation of the curriculum. This questionnaire is designed to elicit views on the general and specific areas that require urgent and immediate intervention. The respondents include education officers, teachers, head teachers and principals. The responses from the questionnaire will help to design a training that meets the needs of as many teachers as possible through the TESSA online programme. You have been selected to take part in the study in your capacity as a curriculum implementer who is aware of training needs to enhance curriculum implementation. Please answer as honestly as you can. Your responses are anonymous and will only be used for the purpose of the study.
