Tapawera Connect and the Motueka Catchment Collective are thrilled to bring Sam "the Trap Man" Gibson to Tapawera. A hunter, trapper and bushman through and through, Sam has spent his life outdoors and has some great yarns to share — along with tips about community trapping.
Alongside Sam, meet the Shedwood Bush Betterers and see what they've been up to in Shedwood Bush - trapping, weeding, track building.
Jacob Lucas (Fish & Game) will share trail cam footage of pests, and there'll be hands-on trap displays and a chance to sign up to the local trapping network.
