The Indigenous Voices Project

We invite you to participate in the EvalIndigenous Indigenous Voices Project.

Background: EvalIndigenous is an international network of the EvalPartners Group, an international partnership to enhance the capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSO) to influence policy makers, public opinion and other key stakeholders so that public policies are based on evidence, and incorporate considerations of equity and effectiveness. (Visit the EvalPartners website at: www.evalpartners.org/).

Project Purpose: We are undertaking a project to promote the voices of Indigenous Evaluators and Indigenous people in the community undertaking similar roles to an evaluator. We would like to provide local case studies on the perspectives and journeys of Indigenous Evaluators. The focus of the case studies are on showcasing good evaluation practices and Indigenous evaluator journeys.

Procedures: Your stories will be audio, video-recorded or written with your consent. Our conversation is expected to be 30 minutes, the audio / video recordings edited to last 5 - 10 minutes. These clips will initially be shared on the EvalIndigenous youtube page. These clips will be shared with the interviewee prior to being uploaded.

We understand that that Indigenous peoples work in diverse communities where the English language is not commonly spoken. If you have any language requirements, please let us know and we will do our best to cater to these requirements.
