Expression of interest to attend the 2026 ICMJ ASIA TOUR

Tentative dates: 15 February 2026- 8 March 2026 (final dates to be confirmed upon finalisation of itinerary. Estimated tour length 14 days)

Further details:

ICMJ are seeking expressions of interest from current committee, coaches and alumni to attend the 2026 proposed immersion tour to key markets for Australian Red Meat in Asia. Countries may include Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, Vietnam and Japan.

The 2026 ICMJ Asia tour will:

· be attended by ICMJ committee, university coaches and ICMJ alumni that are able to demonstrate a need to learn about Asian markets and culture in greater depth

· culminate in the Japanese ICMJ competition on 26 February to 27 Feb 2026

· visit Universities, livestock businesses, value adding and red meat processing facilities

· visit MLA offices and key red meat industry stakeholders in Asia, plus visit wholesalers, retailers, and food service businesses

· The projected length of tour is 14 days

For successful applicants, ICMJ will cover most of the trip expenses including flights, accommodation and some meals. Participants will be required to pay a $1000 contribution to attend the trip as well as some meals and public transport.

Expression of interest:

· Complete the online application form expressing reasons why you need to know more about red meat supply chains, culture and cuisine in Asia

· Expressions of interest must be received before 11.59pm Wednesday 1 October 2025
