Why should I fill out this survey?

Complete this survey to participate in the Delta Stewardship Council’s 2025-26 Science for Communities initiative! We are seeking interest from communities, including tribes, and local public agencies that live in or have ties to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta or Suisun Marsh, who would like to partner with subject matter experts from academic or public agency backgrounds to co-produce research that will address a community need or desire. Interested parties will use this survey to propose a Science for Communities (SFC) project that addresses community environmental and/or socio-economic challenges. See the SFC webpage for more information about SFC.

What will happen to my responses?

Your responses will help Council staff determine how to pair your organization with scientists from academic institutions and public agencies.

Please be aware that all writings that are submitted to the Council as part of SFC will be subject to possible public disclosure consistent with the California Public Records Act. (Gov. Code, § 7920.000 et seq.)
