Participation is voluntary. This online survey aims to understand emotion regulation in relation to climate change and climate action.What to expect: You will be asked to rate the extent to which you agree with various items pertaining emotion relative to climate change and climate action. It will take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete this survey. Risks and discomforts to you if you participate in this study: Risks are minimal, i.e., no more than in everyday living. Participation in this research is voluntary. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or distressed by the questions in this survey, you may withdraw immediately and without penalty. The benefits to you if you take part in this study & what you will receive for taking part in this study:For PY 151 students, you will receive 1 research credit.For Prolific participants, you will receive monetary benefit for participation ($3.50).What will happen to the information collected in this study: The information collected will be kept confidential as much as is permitted by law. Only the research team will have access to this information; the digital files will be kept on a password-protected computer to which only the researchers have access.What rights do you have when you take part in this study: Participation in this research is voluntary.
