The Surrey Board of Trade advocates for red tape reduction, defined as excessive bureaucracy or routines or rules, or complexity, which results in delay or unreasonable costs for business. Filing forms and applying for licenses are a part of doing business, however, we want to ensure that it isn't onerous on our members.

Our annual government red tape survey gives a baseline of our members’ perceptions to measure how different levels of government can have the opportunity to improve processes. In light of COVID-19, your input is more important than ever - the government needs to hear how red tape is affecting the business community's bottom line.

Your input on our annual Red Tape Survey will help us focus on red tape reduction advocacy to the different levels of government: local, regional, provincial, and federal.  Please fill out the following brief survey by September 24, 2020.

Thank you for your time.
