Below are some specific areas of the contract that your Bargaining Team and Bargaining Committee could seek to change in the next round of negotiations. These areas are based on your input on the bargaining suggestion form.

Note that some changes may not be possible or may only be possible with trade-offs. The possibility of specific changes and trade-offs are not known at this time and will depend on numerous factors including OCPS' budget for the 2026-2027 school year. Survey responses will be used to help CTA plan and prioritize its work in negotiations; however, completing this survey does not guarantee that any specific item will be proposed, agreed to, or included in the final agreement. The following questions are just hypotheticals designed to understand your priorities.

We have invited each school to have someone on our expanded Bargaining Committee to help provide input and communicate bargaining updates. This is a separate group from the Bargaining Team, which is a small group of 10 members that directly negotiates with the district. We meet with the Bargaining Committee after most bargaining sessions to provide updates and get feedback and to ensure all members know what is happening in the bargaining process and have opportunities to let their voices be heard. Click HERE to join the bargaining committee.

You may also follow updates at orangecta.com and click on “Bargaining Updates” and CTA members can find updates in their biweekly member newsletter or by joining the members Facebook Group.

We are more likely to succeed in bargaining when everyone is engaged in the process. YOU are the strength of these negotiations. Thank you for completing this survey and stay tuned for opportunities to continue to be engaged! #UnionStrong
