The purpose of the Foundation is to collaborate with community partners in promoting the health of the public by supporting nurses through charitable, research, and educational initiatives
Purpose of the Award
Recognition and acknowledgment of 40 outstanding nurses in Illinois under the age of 40 is intended to celebrate dedicated service to the population, encourage exemplary dedication to the nursing profession, and promise to grow in leadership for the advancement of nursing in Illinois.
This event is designed to recognize 40 Illinois Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s), Registered Nurses (RN’s) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (CNP, CNMW, CNS, CRNA) under the age of 40 who are positively representing the nursing profession by actively participating in the community or a professional organization.

The award is designed to recognize nurses in Illinois who demonstrate exemplary professional practice along with community engagement and advocacy on behalf of the profession and those we serve.
