TM2.0 TF Guidelines for Stakeholders: Survey

The objective of this TM 2.0 Task Force is to provide public and private stakeholders with practical guidelines on how to facilitate TM 2.0 collaboration between stakeholders on a tactical level. The TF mainly works on new ideas integrating also the changing role of PA towards Service Provider.  

A Guidelines document with focus on the tactical level is under draft and we will take into account the outcome of the Survey.
1.In which role is your organisation active in traffic management, and with which geographical scope?
2.What capabilities and assets does your organisation have in place to perform traffic management?
3.How are your traffic management strategies and plans developed?
4.Can you explain to which extent (if any) your organisation is involved in Traffic Management collaboration between one or more road authorities and one or more service providers (TM2.0 collaboration)?

·         Below Level 0:
o   TM assets in place that have potential for TM2.0 collaboration (Current static systems, traffic state information, FCD collection)

·         Level 0:
o   TMP and FCD exchange, both optimise their own processes

·         TM2.0 Level 1:
o   Display or discard the public strategic route after evaluation by SP, User decides

·         TM2.0 Level 2:
o   Compulsory display as option of public strategic route, user decides

·         TM2.0 Level 3:
o   Mandatory takeover of public strategic route. RA decides

·         TM2.0 Level 4:
o   Load balanced routing, traffic will be distributed according to individual destinations and free capacity slot on different routes.

6.What are the motives of your organisation to (not) be involved in TM2.0 collaboration? What are your expectations of results of TM2.0 collaboration?
