What is an EAR?
The City of Groveland is reviewing its guiding policy document, the Comprehensive Plan, as required by Florida law (F.S. 163.3191). Your input will help shape updates to Groveland’s long-term vision for growth, housing, infrastructure, conservation, and community character.
The Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) is a crucial pre-planning phase in Florida's comprehensive planning process. This evaluation process will help us assess how well our current Comprehensive Plan is working, and to inform any updates that may be needed to reflect changes in community needs, laws, growth trends, or environmental challenges.
So, we need to hear from you!
How is City policy supporting community life in Groveland and what additional City policy will best help the community prepare for the future? Please reflect on what existing issues or anticipated changes in the Groveland community may call for updated policies.
This survey takes 5–7 minutes. All responses are confidential. Data collected through this survey, combined with feedback at live public engagement events, will help inform policy updates in the Plan.
